Bird Eater

Today this litter girl shed out. She is the product of a Pastel
Calico to Pewter Ball. This is the Super Pastel Calico Cinny. I don't
know what the name would be, but it is an incredible snake to look at.
There were 4 eggs, and a Pastel Calico, a Pastel Calico Cinny, and This
beast came out of the clutch. We were excited to see it shed. It
looked purple in the egg with a little pattern and a solid missing
pattern striped down the back. We also hatched out an incredible
powerball that I will post pics of.

There are so many different angles you can take that make the
breeding projects exciting. Many people can feel overwhelmed with all
the new mutations that have happened in the past few years. I feel we
have been Spoiled too fast, lol. You have to focus on a few projects
you like and you'll have a blast breeding the Balls. You don't have to
have a large collection to have a lot of variety, and at the same time
you can take up very little space and have some awesome projects that
fund themselves. I'll post up a few pics of some other little
hatchlings over the week.

This is a CRAZY picture. There are very few people i know that would Free Handle a Golaith Bird Eating Spider Theraphosa blondi. This is Josh doing something crazy. I'll have to post up the
full picture so you can see his face. You can tell he is concerned and
trying to keep still. These are Crazy animals. I have only seen him do
this 2 times, and I don't think I'll see him do it again after watching
a Pink Toe Tarantula burry it's fangs in his finger, and not release.
I was laughing while josh was crying. I will have to put some video
footage of them on the blog sometime soon. I'll be posting some fun
stuff we are doing here shortly to introduce a little different phase
of what we are working with. I have gotten quite interested in many
other Animals outside of Boas.

I specialized in breeding just Boas (My favorite animal and reptile
on the Planet) for a long time, but watching Josh, and seeing all the
variety of stuff he has kept for years, i kind of got a new light. It
has been a lot of fun. I have bred lots of different Reptiles, but the
past 10 years has been Boas and pythons specifically. This year we
hope to have some Baby Red Foots, and some baby Tarantulas cooking.
The variety has kept it educational, and fun. Hope you enjoy.

Breeding Season is Upon Us

We are happy that breeding season is starting to get into the swing with Ball Pythons. I have been working a lot on getting the web page more organized. As many of you know we are doing a lot of video shoots. I’m working on my editing skills and having fun. Also, I can work on my laptop, when I’m not in the office. I will be doing an introduction video on the employees. Keep in mind I’m doing the editing, so this isn’t FOX, but it has my style to it without professional cameras. Please visit my youtube page. I will be linking a lot of different videos to this site, but I also keep that youtube page for other fun videos that may not be reptile related. We have been getting a lot of emails of people to keep it up, and I enjoy doing them so I’ll do a lot more in the future.

I’ll be posting a collection of videos of Travel with animals in the Wild soon. I have been working on this with Josh for awhile, and I want to get a good video sample up and going. I have a great "Web Guy" that helps keep the site uploaded, and we are still working on making the site WAY better, and a lot more interactive. I’m going to be changing the front, and do more social networking through the site. I have been HORRIBLE in the past about keeping a site updated. However, that is now going to change. There will always be new stuff to the site or my youtube page, so you can come back and see that is different a couple times a week. I still have a few bugs with the newsletter and organization to the newer site, but it coming around.

We are expecting a VERY early Boa litter for the first of the year in the next week. This is very rare for us since our babies usually don’t come till May through August. I’m extremely excited to see babies again. This year has been very difficult with the laws, and many may be down on the boas, but we hope to produce a few gems that will add some excitement. Please stay tuned. I’ll soon have the 3 good videos I’m working on linked to the Page and to Youtube. I’m also doing some great Gallery Videos that will be up by the weekend.

Have a great week!!

Exciting Day!

Today was a very exciting day at Jeremy Stone Reptiles.

We had a beautiful female Guyana Redtail give birth to a perfect litter... 19 Beautiful babies and 1 slug... I will post pics soon. There are some screamers in this litter, great peaks and great tails... Also very clean with very little speckling, could not ask for a better group of snakes.

Watch for these little guys to come available over the next month.

We have also had some very cool ball morphs born including some new spotnose combos we will be showing off soon. We produced a beautiful pastel mojave VPI Axanthic. He just shed and all I can say is WOW... It just doesn't get any better than this REPTILES RULE...

We have been very busy at Jeremy Stone Reptiles. We are working with some killer animals in a separate facility. We are working with and breeding tarantuals and some other very cool reptiles I will be talking about later on. Spiders have always been a love of mine.

We will be starting video blogging very soon and I cannot wait to show this stuff in action. We hope to be informative and helpful. Feel free to email me at josh@boaconstrictor.comand tell me what you want to hear about and see. We are always looking for input.

Also while we are in this transitional phase please email me josh@boaconstricor.com if there are specific animals or packages you are looking for. I can send pics and prices upon request...

This weekend we are having a sidewalk reptile event. We hope this will be the first of many and hope to create a lot of excitement by meeting many local people some who are seasoned keepers and some just getting into the hobby. Nothing is funner than getting out and talking herps with people who share the passion.

We will also be attending the Wasatch Reptile Expo next weekend and the Las Vegas Show in December.

We are also looking forward to Arlington in Feb.

Thanks

HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!!

Happy Holidays,
I hope everyone is enjoying this time of year. Family, friends, and of course Snakes. Breeding is going well with the boas, and the Balls will be going at good rates soon. We have a few ovulations of some cool projects with the T positive line, and a few other surprises we hope. I am enjoying doing the new videos on the site. I am getting much better at video editing, and i stink so far, but hopefully you'll be seeing some good clips too. I'll discuss the site in my next post. I love watching Snakebytes, and i think they keep it very interesting.

As many people have known for the past few years, the boaconstrictor.com has taken on a new model. I have been very fortunate to follow my passion as a Reptile and Boa lover. I'm facinated in the behavior, and i have learned so much over the past 25 years. I have been fortunate to travel and study boas in the Wild all through South America, Central, and Mexico. (Mexico very little, but I hope to do more work there). My wife and Josh have been able to hold down the fort while i have been gone the past few years. I will expand on this work in a blog next week. I have been doing studies on identification, wild behavior, temperatures, quotas, and numbers. I hope to write a few articles and give pictures of the the field work soon. I have learned so many facts that can discredit the information the USGS report, but I wish I had more time. I'm still working on it.......... Josh has been able to come on a few adventures to work with boas and other reptiles. More to come on that..

I just wanted to share a story of my favorite Christmas and thank my Mom. Since the First Grade, i was able to collect hundreds of garter snakes, and my father hated them. He has a strong fear of Reptiles being from South Carolina in the swamp land. He was reluctant, but always supported my hobbies. My Mom was the key though. She helped me graduate to all corns and rat snakes from the 2nd grade on. I got bored, and wanted my favorite snake the Boa Constrictor. She told me my father just wouldn't allow it, and I would stare at a pet store at my favorite boa constrictor every time I went to get rodents for my other snakes. I had wanted one for years, but there was a special one that had my eye for a couple mothns. The Boa was exotic, 4 feet and I wanted her SOO bad. I was told No on my occasions. As Christmas was appraoaching I was working my mom hard and crossing my fingers. My mom told me that I could get a ball python and that was what I could get for christmas. In a few more years, I could get a boa. I was happy to have my Ball Python for a few weeks as an early christmas present, but I wanted the Boa.

My Mom made a deal with the Pet Store guy that I could take the ball for a few weeks for my christmas present. However, on Christmas Morning, I had a present hidden under the tree. It was "Tasha" the Beautiful Boa at the pet store. The one I wanted. I also had a HUGE secure cage with locks provided for by my father. I had Tasha for 9 years. Thanks Mom!!!!! It was the best Christmas ever....

Happy Hollidays...
Halloween Week

This
week, i'm working on getting the Video ready for our Video segments on
the Blog. We hope to have some really cool stuff to show. It is
getting very cold in the air, and this is one of my favorite times of
the year. All the Snakes are feeling the change in light and
temperatures, and breeding starts happening. We are still learning the
new format of the site. We hope to have it complete by next week, and
have all the sections labled correctly. We are still in the testing
mode.

We
will be sending out our first newsletter and will keep that updated. I
have had a problem with the site in the way I was getting emails, and
hope to have that fixed. I may have missed a lot of your questions.
I'm going to do a specific Blog on the Motley project, and the story in
the next few posts. I have a lot of questions, and there is a lot of
information out there, but that project is close to my heart, so I'll
do a good segment and video segment on the Motleys. Today is feeding
day. It is usually Thursday, but with Halloween and the kids, we had
to bump it up. Halloween is one of my favorite hollidays.

We are very excited about our upcoming breeding projects. I'm
going to show some of the cool Boas other Reptiles we have had this
year. The Baby Guyanan's have all shed out, and they have taken their
first meal well. I love the Red Tails. Keep your eye on the blog for
a lot of new changes.

Hello Everyone:

I have been in and out of town the past week, and I just received this letter from a Friend who used to do computer work here. This is his 4th time overseeas. He called me from Skype to ask what he could do. He has been to Iraq 3 times, and currently fighting in Afghanistan. He has bought a few animals from me and built his collection up slowly over time. His wife has a huge passion for Boas, and loves breeding them. She is also in Afghanistan at the time. They have their animals being cared for at home by family, and they are doing an Excellent job. I want to thank Mark Easterday for his service to our Great Country. I am a huge supporter of the Military, and I believe we should help support our troops. It is sad to see that many of them have normal lives, and that the S373 bill is making things complicated for all Military personal who have a passion with Reptile keeping. If he is trying to get signature of people who share our concern over S373 in Afghanistan from US citizens, what are we all doing at home??????????

Here is a copy of a portion of his letter he sent to me…………

Dear Jeremy,
I am safe in Afghanistan. The Navy realized I was smarter in computers than in combat. I am in a safe location, but you never really feel safe. I hope you and your family are doing well. I am very disturbed about the S373 bill. My wife has the passion for our reptiles, and the Boa Constrictors we have that are being cared for at home bring her so much happiness in these times. She started a business to help us with some bills and is professional breeding to make some incredible morphs. This Bill is of great concern. I am going to get as many military personal that I can to fill out the letters to the Senators in their home state. I’ll see if I can electronically scan them, or send them by the deadline. I hope to get 200 letters if I have time. This bill would Crush my family. I couldn’t come and live in Utah and help my wife in Florida. If we get transferred, I will have to give up on our dreams of taking our animals with us. The Military has shifted us from Utah, to Texas, Florida, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Of course we can’t bring our animals overseas, but it is sad to see the Country I’m fighting for is at the same time making it difficult for Military entrepreneur people to maintain a business. S373 does not make any sense to me. We know that Boa Constrictors are not going to be an Invasive issue, and they are not dangerous to the Community, or the USA for that matter. America is great, but we can do better. I’m sorry to this news from home is good, but I have faith that if people see this for what it is, it can be defeated. I’ll try to call you on Skype later this week to see if there is more I can do. Keep fighting for my rights, as I fight for yours. Never give up!!! Peace, and Love….
Mark Easterday (Currently in Afghanistan)
US Navy

PLEASE GET YOUR LETTERS OUT…. EVERYONE should be able to get 100 from their communities. I’ll be very disappointed if they don’t……….

He and his wife adopted a little boy two years ago. Everything went smoothly and the adoption was finalized at six months with the state. A few weeks later they recieved a letter stating that an Indian tribe had interest in their son because he is 1/16 native american. It turns out it was the birth mother. She found that she could use the tribe to try to get Christopher back. Christopher has been with Josh and his wife from day one. He turns 2 next month. They have been in and out of court now for the last 18 months. Their court costs are out of hand and they don't know how they will ever pay them.

Hey Everyone

I’m doing a lot of new updating to the site this week. My biggest complaint of customers, and especially oversees is that I don’t keep a current site. That has changed. I will have some time on work even when I’m traveling to be on the computer doing site work. I have a good web guy that has been helping me get the page to where I want it. In the next few months, we will be changing the look, and making it a lot more interactive. We have started a Flickr account, and we will keep that updated with lots of cool reptile pictures.

This week, Josh got bit by an emerald tree boa adult. It made his hand swell like a baseball. Not fun for Josh. I’ll have to show the pictures.

I’m proud of the Letter effort that everyone put into getting the letters to Congress to make sure our voice is heard. There is a lot of work to do, but I believe we can accomplish compromise and our goals. Reasonable government policy is the purpose of our Government, and the only way to get things done is to let people know the facts, and to fight for your rights. If you don’t, they can be taken away and make things complicated. So, the more voices, the better. Everyone in the media seems to throw the Reptiles under the bus, yet they make for great T.V. It seems ironic.

I added a fun Satire Video that I have been working on with Bugs the Volunteer. This is a collection of us being a little Crazy trying to keep it fun. Bugs just thought he could work with the snakes, and we had to prove him wrong. Bugs does keep it light when he comes over to help with his volunteer work. (GO TO VIDEO BUG COLLECTION)

We are very excited about the Boa Breeding this year. I hope to have some of the coolest morphs I will ever see. The Boas, have taken a beating in the Laws, but I can assure the Boa lovers of the future, that the Future is BRIGHT!!!!! Wait until this year. I believe 2010 will be a breakout year for many of the combination projects that will blow people away.

Have a great week, and stay tuned………

Introduction to the Staff….

Jeremy Stone
Owner of JSR inc. and Boaconstrictor.com. I have been very lucky in my life to be able to work in the field of my dreams but it isn’t easy. I have been working with Reptiles all my life, but professionally for only about 13 years. I love all Reptiles, but exotics are my favorite. I am working in and out of town on a few projects, and outside contracting. I have 3 boys, and a daughter, and an incredible wife. With Family life, Snakes, and work, there is little time for my hobbies. I love to Golf, travel, field collecting, Sports Center, keeping up in the news politically, and of course reptiles. I have a different style, but my job is to help make animals that people can appreciate like myself.

Josh Ketchum
Josh is the Manager of Sales and my right hand man. He is probably the most experienced keepers of Reptiles and other animals that I know. Reptiles were born in Josh, and like me, he has kept everything since his childhood. He has an incredible collection of breeder Boas, Balls, Bloods, and many other Lizards. Josh has been here for 7 years, and has helped me understand reptiles more. He and I have done a lot of work, and research, and we continue to do so, to help provide the best animals possible. Josh has successfully kept and bred many different species of Reptiles, and has helped me open my eyes to other things outside of just Balls and Boas. Josh is married with an adopted Boy that is 2 years old. He is one of the hardest workers I have met, and we also enjoy having a lot of fun doing what we do. Reptiles are Born and Bred into Josh…. He is a very rare breed…..

Destini
Destini comes in 3 times a week to help maintain the collection. Destini is probably one of the coolest reptile girls you can get to know. She and her husband also keep a lot of Reptiles and, Destini has been working in the Pet industry all her life. Destini has 2 beautiful children, and she has been working here for quite a few years now. Sometimes she’s grumpy and she loves to text, but she gets stuff done….. Destini is classic. She loves good music, and she works hard.

Zack
Here is another Crazy reptile person. Zack is one of a kind. I call him the Spider man. Zack has been studying wildlife research, and has actually worked with Texas A&M university doing field study for a couple weeks over the summer collecting data on spiders and scorpions. He loves to field collect, and has a gift when it comes to working with animals. He is smart and efficient, but just one of those guys that gets stuff done…. He has a lot of fun, but works hard at keeping the collection maintained. Since he is a little more of the Shy type, josh and I always stick the Bugs on him to go give him advice on the ladies.

Bugs the Volunteer

There are a few others that I’ll have to mention Later, like my Wife, Bugs, Mike, Ray, and many others that come and help at JSR inc.

Hope you enjoy our Staff……

Join The Letter Writing Campaign !!!

It's Journal time, and I hope you guys are busy writing your letters. I believe this Letter Campaign is one of the most important thing anyone can be doing. We are working on getting as many as we can, and I hope everyone is doing their part. I have been active in being engaged with my Senators, and spent a lot of time on this. We need EVERYONE to help. It is SO easy to print and sign a letter.

As I have been working on the Site, I have noticed some areas that I need to work on. I’m updating the Picture Gallery with a lot of slide show presentations and still photos of the Boas and Ball Pythons. I am going to attach them to my YouTube page. I have been actively working on the site. I realize I have to keep it fun. As many people see the videos, you’ll see that I love Satire. I try to keep it light, and I have a Volunteer one time a week, or two that I have known for many years. He is a funny Guy, and You’ll see him in a few clips. I joke a lot with Bugs, and Josh, Zack, and Destini do too. Bugs takes a little more than he can dish, but he can dish it, and he loves doing the odd jobs. Click here to see more of the Satire with Bugs… You can read his little Bio. http://www.boaconstrictor.com/bugs

I wanted to talk more about some of the trips I have taken, but I’m doing a video clip to show some of the experiences I have been having. I have switched over to Apple after another MISERABLE computer crash last week. Thank goodness one computer worked. I have Mac laptop, and I’m learning how to do a lot of video editing for my writing, and for my page. My wife enjoys helping with the video clips as well.

We hope to soon have a good virtual site that is updated weekly and often. As breeding season is approaching, I’m excited to show some good videos in the next few weeks of breeding projects, and more fun stuff. I hope everyone GETS THOSE LETTERS DONE!!!! ASAP……

Just Checking In...

    Cleaning out the Baby Room

Picture of Josh 5 years ago. He has changed a lot in the past few years with all the family adoption stress he has had to deal with.

Jeremy Stone & Mary Alice Hatch

I have been very busy the past few weeks with Travel. I have been trying to keep the site updated, but we are doing so much integration with Social Networking that our page will keep changing. I’ll be doing a different format for Jeremy’s Journal, and I’ll be video blogging more, but I’ll keep the Journal updated with still pictures, interesting information going on, and updates on the Laws. The S373 and HS 669 have consumed a lot of time for many that want to save the rights of Reptile keepers. I believe that with the new Social Media technology and with people getting involved into organizations such as USARK, we can be a lot more effective. I want to thank all the people who helped us get letters out to congress. Right now, it is out of the legislators' hands. To see where this is, please visit USARK for updates. It is very important.

This week I had an old friend stop by. Mary Alice and her husband have been good friends of my family. They moved away from Utah and live in the East Coast, but we have stayed in touch. Jess has a father who is a US Senator, and Mary Alice came by to say hi to our Family. She was concerned to see a friend have their business effected, and has offered to help in the cause with out getting too involved. This is a VERY RARE site to see her with a Snake. She actually dared to come tour the facility and see the animals. She offered a Great help to me with letters directly to people in position to help everyone get more informed. I am very thankful to have good friends like them. Thanks M.A.

I had to go to California for some Contracting work this week. I was able to visit a friend who has an INCREDIBLE boa collection. It is amazing how many incredible collections of Boa morphs there are out there without many people seeing some of the best animals. I hope to try to change that and show some of the Best Boas on the planet through my Gallery site. I have many old pictures to sift through and change up the site.

As many of you can see we are integrated into youtube, facebook, and other sites. Many will question what the heck we are doing with Bugs the Volunteer. He is just a volunteer and an old friend that comes and helps out with odd jobs. We rarely have him working in the animals. He loves all animals, but wouldn’t know the difference between a ball or a boa or a Gecko unless you told him. With Bugs coming 3 hours a week, we are fine on the help. Bugs is the type of person that will try anything, and he is like a little kids. That is what is so funny about the Bugs. If you don’t like the Videos, I’m ok with that. Bugs keeps us entertained, and since he is funny to us, we have decided to do fun Satire Clips. They are quite wild, and bring out a Funny personality in us all. I’m just trying to show that breeding and keeping snakes isn’t all that boring, you meet some of the most interesting and fun people on the planet. We are all different in some sort of way, and I do consider myself drawn to many of the great people in the animal community. We are normal people too with normal families, and normal lives. We just have some incredible passion for Reptiles and animals. So, I guess that makes us different.

The nice thing about having a larger facility is that there are many up and coming herpers who offer a lot of Volunteer time. This helps save with money in the times that we are in. Since I’m in a location I have to obey City ordinances, and not have a certain amount of people at the place at one time. I don’t want to cause any riff with the city because I absolutely LOVE living in Lindon Utah. Occasionally, I’ll find good help, but Volunteers are difficult because I have such a detailed collection that it takes too much time to explain. I have a lot of college kids that need some part time work, but Josh is in charge of all that, and he won’t allow anyone without proper experience. We stick with what works, Josh, Zack, Destini, Kara, and Myself can handle the collection. We have a lot of others that help out though, so I just wanted to say thanks to the Staff for holding down the fort while I have been in and out of town.

October 15th Balll Pythons

This week, we have had some cool ball pythons shed. We have a few more clutches this year. We didn't have as big of a Ball Python year as we were hoping but we are happy with many of the cool morphs that came out. Being a true Boa lover, it is easy to see that the ball python market has evolved a LOT faster, and there are multiple combos to work with. Pretty soon, I hope to be making some purple boas with the T positive. It is cool to go to the shows and see the hard work of the Boa people still plugging away.

I get the calls of the excited boa lovers with the newer morphs being accessable. Everyone keeps complaining about prices in the down economy, but i have to say that the passion with the breeders of making stuff that make the hobby get excited will ALWAYS exist. it is a free market, and i believe that people have a right to sell for what they want, but if they want to have a long term gain, the short term strategy doesn't seem to work. Expensive Boa projects are a longer term investment. That is my opinion.

We had some Japananese visitors this week, and it was so cool to see a Boa lover and and Ball lover from across the World get excited over animals that they haven't seen in person. It makes the work worthwhile. We will start listing many of the Ball pythons we have in the availalble section later this week. There are soo many morphs and mixed genes to work with that it seems me that people are having a more difficult time in deciding what direction they want to go. That is the Pros of having many different beautiful combos to work with, and also gives many people to produce stuff that has never been produced or seen before. It brings life and excitement to all those who LOVE breeding and keeping them.

I'll be blogging about the other animals and hopefully get the video blog going soon. The new site is a lot more difficult to get used to, but with all the updated pictures, I should have the Gallary section and the available section up by next week.

Please check back. I'll be blogging on many different types of animals through the week, that I have found to get me more excited about REPTILES in general.

Hope you enjoy the Pics.

Reptile Trips:

I consider myself very fortunate to be able to work in an area that I love. The past few years have been quite different. I have been able for the past few years to travel and do a lot of research for a different company, and in the spare time I have had, I have been able to meet some of the nicest people in many different country’s. I have been able to do research on temperatures, gestation periods, and I have seen hundreds of wild caught, farmed, and field collected Boa Constrictors.

I have met with Vets from different countries, field collectors, and trappers of all different types of animals. When I’m able to pull away from my other work, I have been able to do as much as I can. I have been able to go to some very rare places in South America, Central America and Mexico. I do most of my work in the South American North Region. I will be writing my own articles, and it has been a personal passion of mine to understand the snake that I love the most.

Josh has worked with all reptiles his life through his personal collection and managing a very nice pet store. He knows the animals as good as anyone. He has encouraged me to start something new while I was out. We made some great connections, and I took him on this and a few other trips. I’ll post them and make them available later through the site. I’ll also publish the article I’m working on. It may be more Scientific, but Josh will also be helping me with the Article.

With a few separate facilities and rooms, we have been able to work with All types of animals outside the typical animals I have bred in the past, and it has created a huge new buzz for me. While I’m traveling with other work, I’ll be able to use my computer to keep everyone updated and keep the site more of a virtual and personal site.

On this trip, we were treated to quite the experience. We were able to fly to a few private islands that you can only get to by small Plane and do some research. We have seen some of endangered Dart frogs in the wild, and some incredible spiders, reptiles, and more importantly Boas. Josh has a big passion for Tortoises and Turtles, and we have been able to maintain a great collection of all sorts over that past few years. We have been able to buy and trade a lot of animals to get to where we want to go. There is a lot of hard work to do. Quality is the Key……

On this trip, we were invited to a Private Indian Reservation where you have to have permission from the Chief to come in and see. We were treated to a rare occasion in the Guyana highlands. We got to camp, see a lot of animals, a few Indian dances, and meet people that live in a completely different world with no electricity.

We traveled to a different Indian Reservation in the day down a Huge River 45 minutes off the Essequibo River. We were invited in, and got to see how they live right off the river in a Christian Community. The Children all go to school out doors in a big outdoor class room. It was a good culture experience.

We also did a lot of night field collecting. Caiman hunting, Tree Boas, and lots of Wild Jungle animals. As a child, I always was field collecting in South Carolina where my Family lives. I would ride the roads of Jasper County looking for anything I could find with my Grandma. I have always loved field collecting in different areas. I have been able to see many things, and I’ll write a lot more about a few of the great and interesting things Josh and I have encountered. I don’t want to say too much about my research now, but it has been a good passion and I will continue to do it. I hope you enjoy the clips on the Site... I’ll be changing them often...

Site Updated !!

I am excited about the new Site. I thought it would be up and running sooner, but I wanted to do it better. I have enjoyed the video segments. I have a Youtube and facebook account that I will be on working daily. We set up a Twitter account, and Josh will be tweeting daily on the site.

I will keep my site inclusive to what we do here, and how we keep it fun. We hope to attract a lot more people that get to see Reptiles in a different setting from a diverse perspective. A killer new addition to the site the Available Animal Video Section. This section will be dedicated to showing videos of all the animals we have for sale. This should show the healthy, quality, and a better description than your common picture. You can also see our common pricelists.

I will be putting up Video Blogs about 5 times a week. The Video Available page will be getting new videos on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I have all the Emails now worked out with the Contacts through the site, and I will be sending out a Newsletter with pricing and specials at the First of the Month. So, if you have not signed up for the site, please do so. I hope you enjoy all the new looks. I’m not that great in front of a camera, but it is me and what we do, so I hope you enjoy all the segments.

With all the work required, we have to keep it fun. There is no business better than the Reptile business. It can get mundane because some projects can take many years to develop, but when they get close to coming around, it gets exciting again, and the Variety REALLY helps.
My goal is to have the Site Complete by December 8th. It is close to 100 percent done. Even though I am able to communicate through my video blog a lot easier, I do love to write, so I’ll continue on a weekly basis to keep the Jeremy’s journal section updated with written text and good pictures.

Stop S373 !!!!!!!!!

Hello S373,

I have been working a ton, and the Laws have consumed a large portion of time. I believe it is a VITAL for all of us to do a HUGE letter campaign by the 12th of January. We need letters to FILL the offices!!! I have been working with a few professional breeders on a Senator campaign to make them away of the issues, and there has been a lot accomplished, but we still need EVERYONE to do all they can to protect our rights. Here is the link to do this. www.killS373.com

I have made a little side section to my front page. I am changing the information a little. I am posting IMPORTANT videos. So much work has been done by Pijac, USARK, Nat Pets, etc, and many others. I want to thank all the people for posting videos, and getting the message out. These videos and web pages make it so easy to give step by step instruction on all that can be done.

All you have to do is type a few words, and they fill out the rest, and give them to the correct people. However, we need a Mailed LETTER grass roots organization going to give them letters of all citizens. I am confident we will accomplish our mission if we get the word out.

Josh will Twitter a few important updates when we get them, and you can follow us on Twitter. I'm still tweaking the site a little, and I'll be posting.

Thanks for being patient with me with the Site. I'll be posting up my Blog weekly, and have lots of fun new videos.

This Week's Blog

Hello, I have made it a point to make this a PRIORITY on my
site. I am going to be listing products and cool animals. I
will also mention our Weekly Deals. Today I listed up a few
Boa Packages in the Boa Constrictors Section. Please bear with
me. I'm learning the new site, and some changes will come and go, but I
think it will be a great networking tool. We have changed quite a
bit. As many of you know Josh is the Manager here at Jeremy Stone
Reptiles, and does most of the Sales. He works with many different
Reptiles with his background.

As many have seen we have other animals at the Shows that we are
doing. Josh will be blogging about other Reptiles of interest. I feel that I have been rejuvenated just being
around Reptile people when I go to the Reptile Shows. We all are different, but we share the same
passion. You’ll meet some great people
who have normal busy lives, but have a passion for Reptiles. They are the backbone of the industry.

I feel that the most important thing
to offer when selling animals is the quality.
The focus and mission of Jeremy Stone Reptiles will to be constantly
maintain a Quality. After being in the
business for most of my life, I have always been able to tell difference
between a healthy stout animal, and an animal that is not. I take pride in learning about quality in
care, breeding of reptiles. It is a
passion hard to describe.

My Passion is Boas and will always be the Boas. That is my favorite Reptile
of all time. Nothing beats a good Boa!!!
We had a good breeding season, but missed on Many of the animals we were hoping
to produce. Each week, we will be offering a couple packages as well as
some individual animals. Please check back often. To
check out all the stuff, please apply. Today we had some Eggs still
laying from Ball Pythons. Most of our stuff is almost finished, and
our Boa year is done. We missed on the T positive Sunglow
Jungle. A sad story. The Mom died trying to deliver.
She had a twisted ovary. We also didn't produce more T positive
Motleys. I was really hoping for that!!! It has been fun to
see all the new and exciting stuff that people are producing. Many people
in the recession we are in, feel like there are not many projects that are
worth following through. After working MANY years with Ball Python
Morphs, i have seen that we have So much work to be done on the
Boas. While there aren't nearly as many morphs, with Boas you still
have Locality, Variety, and thousands of Combos. I have Loved breeding
and keeping different Local Boas. The Central American Boas are some of
the Best breeding animals we have, and they are small. If they are
handled right, they can be one of the best reptile around. I love
them all. The T positive Centrals we produced this year were
amazing, and some of the T positive Motleys kept all the pattern.
(Sometimes the Central American Motley can have more broken patterns than your
  typical Colombian Motleys).

This Blog will be ALL encompassing. Don't be surprised when you
see Reptiles of all kinds. After many years of working with Boas, I
believe we have some of the best stock around.
I take pride in the fact that when you get a Boa from us, you will know
that you got a healthy quality animal.
We take pride in quality. The Care that goes into them is
detail. We don't bug them too much, just clean them, feed them, and
provide the right environment. This has been a system learned over many
hard lessons. There is something we learn
every year that we incorporate into the next year to make it better. We will keep the site updated every week,
with many posts done in between. I hope
you enjoy many of the pictures and topics of discussion.

Please check out the available section. We have some cool Boa packages.. We will keep this section updated weekly as well.

Welcome to the Blog

We have a complete new set up and some great ideas on how to make the site much better. As many know the site has been down for awhile through the breeding season. We will be blogging a few times a week. We also have included a Newsletter and Pricelist in the Web Page. Please sign up to get more info. Every Monday this list will go out to all the people who have submitted their information to the site. We Strive to keep the Best Collection of Morphs, and are on the cutting edge of new and exciting projects in many areas. This is an opening to explain the format of how I will be posting. If you have questions about anything please contact us, and we will try to help you in any way we can.

The Blog has a few main Goals...

To keep you updated on all the new and exciting stuff with Jeremy Stone Reptiles. As a Boa lover, i will probably be biased in posting a lot more boa pictures, but we also have some of the most incredible herps to choose from.

To announce Any changes to the site, and to also include weekly package deals in the Avaialable section.
